Arrest made following Chris Brunt coin incident
Brunt was struck by a coin as he went to give his shirt to a traveling fan following the 3-1 defeat at Reading in the FA Cup.
It is believed that the coin was thrown the section of the Madejski Stadium that housed the West Brom fans.
The 31-year-old who has been captain of the Baggies since 2011, said that he felt “disgusted” and “ashamed” following the incident.
A number of West Brom fans have offered to hold bucket collections for a charity of Brunt’s choice before Saturday’s game against Crystal Palace.
