AFTER breaking Peter Shilton’s competitive club record with his 1,250th appearance, for Wisbech against Thetford Town, Paul Bastock told the BBC:
“It’s amazing. Two weeks ago I was looking at hanging the gloves up. I feel like I’ve been on X Factor! I feel like I’ve gone from nobody to someone who everyone wants to have a chat with. It’s fantastic. It’s been a great day and surpassed everything I ever dreamt of ”
