IN the early 1980s there was no more high profile English footballer than Kevin Keegan. Multiple trophy winner with Liverpool, successful spell in the Bundesliga with Hamburg, endorsements for this, that and the other, chart singles and twice European Footballer of the Year are to name but a few of the highlights on his impressive CV.
Even though the bubble-permed superstar was coming towards the end of his illustrious career, he still commanded the headlines wherever he went.
