JONATHAN COWLEY says Liverpool supporters may have won a battle, but fans in general are still miles away from winning the war

TICKET prices. A topic that has been a hot source of debate in recent years. It got a whole lot hotter back in February of last year when the Premier League sold television rights for 2016-2019.
The price paid for those rights totalled an eye-watering £5. 136bn, split between longtime broadcaster Sky and relative new kid on the block BT Sport. That figure was a staggering 71 per cent more than the two paid last time around.
