WE’RE fast heading towards the end of the season and the time when dreams are made or broken.
Players will be doing their utmost to achieve success, whatever that is. Some may play through the pain barrier, but I think we all understand more than ever now that players’ long-term welfare must be paramount. 
Dementia in former players is something that has become more widely spoken about and the introduction of concussion subs is a welcome step in the right direction.
