COLIN PERRY takes a trip down memory lane to recall a not-so-famous five

SINCE the introduction of automatic promotion and relegation between the Football League and the Conference in 1987, there has been a steady stream of clubs entering and exiting English football’s top 92.
Of the clubs who have enjoyed their first ever taste of Football League action through the current system, many have risen to League One status. Most recently, Stevenage and Crawley Town have followed up winning the Conference title with a second successive promotion into the third tier.
