THE original and still the best. Pelting down the right wing during the 1990 World Cup final , Germany striker Jurgen ‘the springboard’ Klinsmann saw Pedro Monzon coming a mile off. The Argentina full-back launched into a challenge but, long before he made impact, Klinsmann was soaring through the air. Upon landing, he bounced, rolled and spasmed like the pitch was electrified and even kept up the act while the physios ‘treated’ him. Monzon was sent off and Germany went on to win 1-0.
