LATER this year comes the 65th anniversary of the day when English football was taught a lesson by the ‘Mighty Magyars’.
It was on November 25, 1953 that 105,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium saw Hungary humiliate an England side that had only been beaten on home soil once, in 1949 by the Republic of Ireland.
